Current classes in Seattle

MONDAYS at 8pm: Drop-in series at China Harbor, 2040 Westlake Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109.

TUESDAYS: Level 1,2, and 3 classes in Century Ballroom. To register, please visit Century Ballroom.

We are also available for private lessons. Please contact Greg to arrange a lesson.

Class Descriptions

These are some general guidelines for difficulty/skill level of classes.

Level I: for absolute beginners or dancers with some experience who would like to be introduced to our approach to basics of the dance. For those just starting, it may be a good idea to take this level twice.

Level II: this class builds on the basic mechanics of the dance and introduces more challenging concepts like ganchos, boleos, drags, etc. We also take a look at close embrace. You can take this class as many times as you like as we cover something different every series.

Level III: in this class we build on material from Level II. We also examine advanced topics like soltadas, colgadas, volcadas, etc. and focus on musicality, improvisation, and quality of movement.
